This necklace showcases extraordinarily rare and beautiful vintage lucite beads. These round faceted 12 mm beads have a gold foil core that is encased within transparent violet lucite. To give you an idea of how rare these beads are -- the few foiled lucite beads that I've been able to find are largely discolored and/or cloudy. I pick out only the few perfect ones for the jewelry that I design. I alternated the perfect beads in this necklace with Swarovski violet aurora borealis round faceted 8 mm crystals. The beads are spaced with violet Miyuki glass seed beads and Swarovski violet 3 mm faceted crystal bicones.
