This necklace showcases a fabulous polymer clay pendant by the exceptionally talented artist Montse, from Barcelona. She makes the most beautiful and unusual polymer clay beads that I have ever seen. This 48 x 35 mm rectangular pendant is an image of a kimono-clad Japanese woman standing in a room with rice paper screens behind her. The colors in the image itself are grey, orange, ivory, and taupe. The "frame" around it consists of swirls of gorgeous pearlescent olive and coppery brown, that are decorated with large pale yellow/ivory flowers. This is a fantastic work of art. Note the 12 mm square matching earrings, which feature the same colors as the "frame" of the pendant. I suspended this pendant from a necklace of two very unusual and beautiful colors of Swarovski crystal: khaki and lime satin. I alternated the two; they differ subtly in shade (the khaki is slightly greener than the lime satin) and give richness to the coloring of the pendant as a result. The beads are spaced with Swarovski khaki 4 mm faceted crystal bicones and metallic olive Miyuki glass seed beads. This beauty is 19 inches long, with a 3-inch extender, giving it a working length of 19-22 inches. Signed RLN. Price: $40
